Mill Hill Christmas houses finally mounted

I wanted to do something besides framing so I tried this technique. It's not awesome, but if I decide after the years I don't like it, I can always get it framed....so here are some photos to try and capture the beauty. Which photos really don't do! All photos are "clickable" if you want to see them larger.

And here is Amberlyn helping decorate our tree last weekend. I have one more tree to put up and hope to do that today while she is here. All of her ornaments ended up on 2 branches, so after she left I had to do just a bit of rearranging! LOL Hope everyone has a happy Holiday!

  5. That looks like a great finishing idea, Nancy. I think it would work very well for finishing off seasonal pieces that you don't want to put a lot of money into framing...

Love each of the tiny houses and their little accent beads--that looks like a very time consuming piece to stitch :)

  6. Nancy, I love the way you finished it. It will make it much easier to store it that way too, although I would be tempted to leave that out all year as it is so beautiful. Cute picture with Amberlynn. More precious memories!!

I like your Mill Hill piece and had thought of doing one similar to yours... but it is still only a thought. LOL. I have so many things already started that need finishing.
Love the photo of you and DD hanging ornaments on the tree. TFS.

    1. Thank you for your comments! I could thank you personally but you are a "no reply" commenter so I am doing it here. And I don't think you will even see it!
